As a licensed hairstylist and esthetician, she began her career doing on-location hair and make up for celebrities, weddings, network television, print and film over 20 years ago. In 2016 she opened her own salon, Maui Hair Studio. At that point, Trisha decided to change her focus and get back behind the chair full time. Her makeup artistry back ground gives her a unique perspective of hair, able to see color in a multi dimensional way that acts as a secret weapon.
Creative, versatile, and passionate about her craft, Trisha opened Maui Hair Studio to give her clients exactly the hair they have always dreamed of. In the effortless beach environment of Maui, she still wanted to bring an elevated fashion feel to her clients. In February of 2019, after much research and a bit of curiosity, she decided she wanted to try the newest in hair extensions and headed out to the nations best salon. A flight to Arizona, an appointment with Chrissy Rasmussen (aka @hairby_chrissy) at Habit Salon and hair as she knew it changed forever! Completely obsessed, Trisha went back and was certified for Habit Method Hand Tied Extensions in March 2019.
Since then, Maui Hair Studio is the leading Habit Method hand tied extensions salon in Hawaii. Paired with a seamless color palette, Trisha is hands down one of the best in the biz. She specializes in long hair, hand tied extensions and custom color.
